Koru - A Maori desgin carved as a coil or spiral. The design shows an unfurling fern, representing that new growth. This idea of new begining and adventure was perfect for me, and the name for my boat was found.

Sadler 29 - The model was suggested to me by another livaabord in a sadler 34. Inspired by the quality build, comfort for living in and fast design of the boat I began viewing boats. I found the 29 to be a more realistic goal for me. Price, maintance, upkeep and also the thought of entering a marina singlhanded the 29 seemed like the right boat for me. To date it has keep its promise and got me through marina, storm and anchorage without any hesitation.
